Accolto dai confratelli e ospiti, P. Umberto ha visitato questa casa che accoglie malati psichici di ambedue i sessi. Egli e Fr. Franco hanno incoraggiato i confratelli a continuare a dare "Pane e Signore" a questa porzione di fratelli e sorelle colpiti da diversi mali psichici
Padre Humberto Brugnoni, Superior General de los Guanelianos, Siervos de la Caridad, ha visitado a las comunidades presentes en México. Lo ha hecho del 12 al 24 de julio 2019. Ha sido una visita oficial que nosotros llamamos: “visita canónica”. Repartió su tiempo por las dos comunidades de los Siervos de la Caridad en Ciudad de México y Amozoc (Puebla). Una gran parte de su visita la dedicó a dialogar personalmente con cada uno de los religiosos presentes en estas dos comunidades y para conocer las diversas actividades y proyectos que se tienen por estas tierras.
En Amozoc pudo escuchar el testimonio de los agentes de Pastoral de la parroquia San Luis Guanella, celebrar la misa y convivir con ellos. También estuvo presente en un retiro que tuvieron las hermanas guanelianas, Hijas de Santa María de la Providencia, y posteriormente las visitó en sus casas. También estuvo conversando con la comunidad laica guaneliana Reina de la Paz, de San Pablo Actipan – Tepeaca (Puebla). Una jornada la dedicó para hacer una reunión y convivir con todos los guanelianos cooperadores mexicanos que se dieron cita en el centro vacacional Ex - hacienda de Chutla (Puebla).
En Ciudad de México pudo ver cómo van las obras de la “Casita Sagrada” para mujeres maltratadas y del Oasis y Santuario de la Misericordia. Pudo visitar los proyectos de los ancianitos, del centro social, del centro de promoción humana, los cursos de verano, estar presente en varias eucaristías y, sobre todo, oficiar la misa de acción de gracias por los 25 años de la parroquia Corpus Christi.
En esta visita, en todos los encuentros que ha podido tener, padre Humberto nos ha animado a seguir adelante para que vivamos y testimoniemos nuestro carisma guaneliano de la caridad. A nosotros nos toca ahora recoger sus palabras y seguir proyectándonos hacia el futuro con entusiasmo, con renovado espíritu guaneliano.
Gracias P. Humberto por esta sustanciosa visita. Dios lo bendiga y acompañe siempre. Lo tenemos presente en nuestras oraciones. La familia guaneliana de México lo saluda con mucho cariño y le agradece por su generosa visita. Esperamos verlo pronto por estas benditas tierras de María de Guadalupe.
I giorni 7-8 agosto, Don Umberto ha visitato il Guanella Preethi Nivas nella città di Bangalore, nello stato del Karnataka in India.
Lì ha incontrato i confratelli, le consorelle e i guanelliani cooperatori che lo hanno accolto con la abituale ospitalità indiana. P. Umberto inoltre ha avuto modo di incontrare i giovani confratelli di prima formazione. Certo che non erano poche le persone a cui lui doveva dedicare il suo tempo. Infatti, resta ancora da visitare nel Karnataka la comunità di Mysore per poi avviarsi a Thalavadi.
Il 20 luglio ultimo scorso, è stato ordinato Sacerdote, nella Diocesi di Idah (Nigeria) il nostro P. Moses Ali Ibrahim.
Tutta la famiglia guanelliana ringrazia e loda il Signore per questo dono ed augura a P. Moses Ali Ibrahim l’essere sempre al servizio della carità!
Il 4 agosto Don Umberto e Fr. Franco hanno iniziato la loro visita canonica in India visitando le comunità di Valturu e Koppaka nello stato dell'Andra Pradesh.

Il 21 luglio Don Umberto ha avuto un incontro con i gruppi parrocchiali della Parrocchia San Luis Guanella di Amozoc, insieme al Provinciale P. Alfonso Martinez. E’ stato accompagnato dal parroco P. Andrés e da P. Edgar.
Ha avuto anche l’occasione di incontrare il gruppo delle laiche consacrate guanelliane nel Seminario Siervos de la Caridad della stessa città di Amozoc.

through the help of God’s grace, and the ever protection of Mary, Mother of Divine Providence, made a solemn pledge of perpetual communion with Jesus, the Eternal High Priest for the service of the Church and humanity, especially the poor.
It was indeed a graceful occasion witnessed by Rev. Fr RATHINAM SOOSAIRA, the general counselor in charge of the African Vice-Province, many confreres, close and distant relatives of confreres who so much desired to show their love, support and encouragement to the newly ordained priests.
At his homily, His grace Rt. Rev. FRIDOLIN AMBONGO, the archbishop of Kinshasa reminded the ordinands that more than ever, today, it is important to recall that the priesthood is a special gift from God and also a great mystery for the Church and the world. No one takes this grace upon himself. It is a call to serve in humility and total trust in God’s abiding grace.
Consequently, it is important for the priest to realize that in his life, God has given the most treasured of all gifts, and for all eternity hence ordained in the order of Melchizedek. Beyond the feebleness and vulnerability of human nature, he is chosen to be another Christ - ALTER CHRISTUS. Therefore, he not only shares in the priesthood of Christ but also in his Victimhood. The bloody sacrifice of Christ on the cross he is called to replicate through his self-oblation, self-denial, passionate missionary engagement especially to those who are most abandoned.
To our newly brothers, we entrust you to the intercession of our founder, Saint Louis Guanella as we wish you God’s abundant graces in your priestly vocation.

Confratelli radunati nella prima Assemblea della Confederazione Far East. Siamo in 15 da cinque comunità in missione in tre nazioni: Filippine, Vietnam e Isole di Solomon. Tutte dentro l'immenso Oceano Pacifico, al nord e al sud dell Equatore.
Riuniti sul tema dell Assemblea: "Testimoniare la Comunione in Missione". Profezia e sfide.
The assembly was held in Manila on 17-20 July, 2019 at ACI Convent, Tandang Sora. Fr. Luigi de Giambattista, the Coordinator presided over the meeting. There were 15 Confreres from Philippines, Vietnam and Solomon Islands present for the gathering spent three days in listening, discerning and proposing for the future.
Fr. Luigi says it is Kairos, the time of special grace that the Lord is providing for all of us. It is absolutely new and there is energy, more passion and youthfulness in the Confederation. It is a new call and it is urgent. We need this theme: Communion in mission. There is a new spirit is blowing, we need to work and work together guided by the Spirit of the Lord.
