Divine Providence Province organized the ongoing formation program for Superiors and Treasurers meet on 16^th and 17^th, November 2023 at Don Guanella Major Seminary. Superiors, Resident In charges and Treasurers of the communities and residences actively participated in the meeting. On the first day, Fr. Ronald, SdC, Provincial Superior welcomed all the participants and Fr. Kulandaisamy, SdC, Vice Provincial Superior presented a talk on ‘Animation of communities and its challenges today’. Then, superiors and resident in charges shared about the blessings and challenges of the community and efforts taken towards self-sustenance of the community. Afterwards, Ms. Olga Miriam Iossa, ASCI Secretary shared her views, guidelines and requirements to write a proper project appeal to ASCI. In the afternoon, Bro. Franco Lain, SdC, General Councilor presented a talk on ‘Synodality in the animation of the communities’. The first day came to an end with the Holy Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. A.P. Samy, SdC.

The second day began with the Holy Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. J. David, SdC. After the breakfast, there was a elaborate discussion on the topics such as ‘FCRA, ESI, EPF’. Mr. Arockiasamy, our auditor, Mr. Jeeva and Mr. Charles were the resource persons to explain in details all the updates on the above-mentioned topics for the safe and smooth running of the administration of the communities and residences in India. In the afternoon, the in charges of the different offices of the provinces such as vocation promotion and youth animation, project desk, communication desk, pious union of St. Joseph, Guanellian study centre and ASCI Projects presented their updates of their respective offices. At last, Fr. Ronald, SdC, Provincial Superior thanked everyone for their active participation and gave some strong   recommendations to the Superiors/Resident In charges and Treasurers for the safe and smooth functioning of the communities and residences.
