The Divine Providence Province organized the two days meet of the formators on November 28^th & 29^th, 2023 at Don Guanella Major Seminary.   On the first day ,    Fr. Praveen Jeba Kumar  presented the synthesis of the formators gathering and the revising of the Ratio Formationis which took place in Rome from 3^rd to 15^th September. He presented the talks of five resource persons namely The Superior General Very Rev. Fr. Umberto Brugnoni SdC, who highlighted the significance of formation and the assimilation of feelings of being formed individually into the Heart of Christ.  Fr. Gustavo De Bonis SdC mentioned the Decree of Promulgation of the RATIO as the normative text for the Servants of Charity.  Fr. Alessandro SdC who dealt with the framework of reference and the central themes were to Educate, Form and Accompany in the process of maturation of self and the theory of Self-Transcendent consistency. Then he moved on to share about the mediation network, convergent plurality of dimensions and levels with regard to Human, Spiritual and Charismatic which was dealt by Fr. Nico Rutigliano SdC in a detailed manner. Finally he shared about the Pedagogical Dynamismsdetailed by Fr. Juan Manuel SdC on 5 types of present day formators and their pedagogy and also he stressed on the importance given to the guidelines for the protection of minors and vulnerable.

On the second day, Fr. Benson shareD the theme Priestly Formation in the Digital Age which was dealt in the ARMS meet. The presentation was on the traits and characteristics of generations introduced to the digital age and the progression till date (Gen X – Gen Z), the present day challenges in seminary formation of a digital age candidate in different aspects of knowing, leading, organizing, guiding and ordering him in the formative journey. After that Fr. Shantham was invited by Fr. Provincial Superior to share the synthesis of Formators Animation at Don Bosco Renewal Centre. He shared about the basic principles of formation, vocation, discernment and model for evaluation. During the two days meet, there were discussions and clarifications on the challenges faced in today’s context of formation style and mode in all the formation houses. In between the sharing and discussions and clarification moments Fr. Provincial Superior shared a few of his concerns on formation. Finally Fr. Provincial thanked for all the efforts taken by every formator and suggested to follow the set of principles proposed in Ratio and Formation Directory.
