Annual retreat was organized for the temporarily professed confreres of Divine Providence Province in St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary, Cuddalore.
The retreat preacher was Rev. Fr. Thomas from Sivagangai diocese. The main theme of the retreat was ‘Making this earthly life as heavenly life.’ He derived the examples from the life history of Jesus, Mother Mary, Joseph and other saints. The five days of spiritual retreat that was held from 18.05.2022 to 22.05.2022, enabled them to attend to the presence of God in their souls and to reflect over the progress of their religious life before renewing their religious vows for one more year. They had a deep awareness of God’s presence in their lives through silent prayers, Holy Mass, Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic adoration which helped them to experience the presence of God and to be attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
