He, as a representative of the President of the Republic of Italy, assigned the title of “Cavaliere” to Fr. Luigi De Giambattista on June 22 in the house of Servants of Charity, Tandang Sora, Quezon City. Cavaliere is an honorable higher order in the Italian State, an important recognition given by the Italian Government to their citizens for their work and service. This time it was given to Fr. Luigi who has served as a priest of Servants of Charity in the Philippines for many years.
