The ongoing formation for young priests below five years was held in Guanella Preethi Nivas, Bangalore on 11-12 December 2017. The tutelage program was organized on the theme “Continuing Growth for an Eternal Sanctification” by Tutelage co-ordinator Rev. Fr. Soosai Rathinam. The resource person Fr. Juventius Andrade, CSSR spoke about “the religious life in the present context”. The church would be small if Guanellians does not exist in the Church and the world. “The contribution of the Guanellians is so vast that every Guanellian should feel the sense of belonging to the Congregation and the Church”, he insisted.
Fr. Soosai Rathinam spoke on “Various tasks and challenges of the Priestly identity and ministry”. He recommended the young priests not to fall into the clutches of hedonistic and media culture, but to be courageous to face any problems. Fr. Adaikalam, the Novice Master also shared his thoughts and personal experience of a “Determined Religious”. The tutelage program came to an end with the personal dialogue with the co-ordinator Fr. Soosai Rathinam and relaxing film out.
